NutriSync ("we", "us") is a nutrition and hydration tracking app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. NutriSync is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
Information we collect
Account information: your email address and a display name, used to identify your account.
Health and nutrition data you enter: your age, gender, weight, height, activity level, dietary goals, allergies, food and water logs, and (for premium users) sleep logs. You provide this data voluntarily to use the tracking features.
Location: if you choose to find nearby restaurants, we use your approximate location only to generate meal suggestions for that request.
Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider (Base44 Payments). We do not store your full card number — only a record of your subscription status and transaction identifiers.
How we use your information
- To calculate your daily calorie, protein, carb, fat, and hydration goals.
- To generate personalized food and restaurant suggestions that respect your allergies.
- To display your progress, streaks, and (for premium) sleep insights and AI coaching.
- To send optional alarm and hydration reminders, if you enable them.
- To sync sleep events to your Google Calendar, if you connect it.
- To maintain and secure your account and subscription.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely on the Base44 platform and is isolated to your account using row-level access controls — only you (and an administrator for support) can read or modify your records. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Third-party services
NutriSync integrates with the following services, each governed by their own policies:
- Base44 Payments — processes subscription payments.
- Google Sign-In — optional account login.
- Google Calendar — optional sleep-event sync (premium), connected per user.
Data retention and your rights
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Profile → Danger zone; deletion is immediate and irreversible. You may also export your data by contacting support before deletion.
Children's privacy
NutriSync is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
